about the meribel valley
The Meribel Valley is the middle, central valley
of the 3 vallees, making it the ideal base for exploring
the whole domain! Encapsulating Brides la Bains at its
base, Les Allues in the middle and of course Meribel itself.
Meribel alone has 9 Black runs, 21 red, 33 blue and 11
green, 2 designated snowboard areas (snowparks). Plus
2 Olympic runs and 1 slalom stadium. More impressive statistics
include 16 gondola lifts, 18 chairlifts, 18 draglifts
and 8 telebabies.
As one of the top resorts in Europe, Meribel has an extensive
range of alternative activities to skiing and boarding
if you have days when you fancy something different!

- les - allues
As the location for chalet Chez Albert, Les Allues is
a small traditional and picturesque village at 1100m.
Once a quiet hamlet, it is now a popular alternative to
the main resort and maintains the true character of this
beautiful alpine region.
Amongst the old stone buildings and rambling streets,
visitors will now find a super market, ski rental shop
and a choice of bars and restaurants.
The village is part of the world's largest ski area, Les
Trois Vallees. Connected by a gondola lift from Brides
Les Bains below to Méribel above.
Les Allues is the choice of many returning skiers. It
is more chilled and more traditional than Méribel,
but still provides a good variety of services and facilities.
