Le Verseau
Newly decorated, both inside and out, this forty-bedroom
hotel is nicely situated overlooking the town of Brides
Les Bains. All the shops, bars and restaurants are just
a couple of minutes stroll away (although the best bar
and restaurant are situated even nearer – on the
ground floor of the hotel itself!) and the gondola for
transport to Meribel is only around five minutes walk
– depending on fitness and footwear. If the thought
of carting all your gear backwards and forwards to the
gondola every day is less than appealing then there is
a free transfer service. Every day a minibuses will transport
you from the hotel to the gondola and vice versa –
ensuring that every ounce of energy is preserved for piste
pounding.
Our restaurant
Internally the restaurant is beautifully set out, bright
in the morning for continental or cooked breakfast (Full
English breakfast is available at extra cost. May not
be available Mon – Thu) As well as the always tasty
"Menu du Jour" there will also be on offer every
evening a selection of salads and snacks such as pizza,
jacket potatoes and chips. The experience and expertise
brought by the arrival to the Verseau team of head chef
Edmund Faletta means that Savoyard specialities such as
fondue and tartiflette will also regularly feature on
the evening menu. As well as all this, guests can look
forward to occasional themed restaurant nights featuring
Chinese and Indian cuisine all at the usual excellent
value.
