Perfectly situated at the foot of the biggest ski area in the world lies the alpine town of Brides Les Bains. Since 1992 Brides has become increasingly busy during the winter months, as the word has got around of this little town that provides easy access to some of the world’s most prestigious ski resorts and yet does not charge its occupants an arm and a leg for the privilege.

Simple, and yet equipped with everything you could need for your stay, Brides has a distinct charm that is all its own. All within 5 minutes walking distance you will find a bank, supermarket, church, post office, skate-park, tourist office, several shops and a selection of good bars and restaurants where you can expect to pay on average a third less for drinks and food compared to what you would be charged further up the mountain.

Although not as lively as Meribel itself, the afore-mentioned bars combined with a casino, nightclub and our very own club hotel mean Brides is no slacker in the nightlife stakes. The town is also excellent for non-skiers as its lower altitude means that any of the several picturesque walks that surround Brides are accessible practically the whole year round.
